Hey everybody, I am in a competition… again.
This competition is called ASEAN Scholarships for Malaysia & Brunei, and it’s more of a test for students who want to get a scholarship to study in Singapore.
Anyway, at about 8, we arrived at the Sunway Lagoon, which is like a theme park/hotel thing, but it also can provide you with office rooms, buffet, shopping malls and all that. But don’t ask me to much about it, I haven’t really been there before.
So the first test is the GAT(General Ability Test), and it’s the exact same thing as the one I got in APMOPS(Refer to my previous blogs), and it’s not only that there’s also 48 questions, 20 minutes only, but even the questions are exactly 100% the same! So, since I (kinda) already knew the answer, I finished it in time(unlike last time).
Then there’s a lunch break, which is at 10:30, come on, that’s a little early for lunch, right? But who am I to say, so after a 1 hour break, we have a math test, which is 35 questions, but most questions are split into a, b and c parts, I think if you add them up, it’ll be 45 questions or something. Anyway, the questions aren’t too tough, but they are really time consuming for me.
After the test, there’s another break, then a English test, for the English test, although it’s not the same as the one in APMOPS, the format is pretty much the same, first there’s 20 ‘ABCD’ questions, then 30 fill in the blanks, then two paragraph worth of questions, or also 30 questions, whew!
But it’s not over yet, there is also an English Writing Test, like all tests would have. So I wrote a briefing on how a digital dictionary is very meaningful to me(as a gift).
Geez, that’s really tiring, 4 tests in one day, but I’m really glad that I made it. I hope that my results are good!
